Welcome to Watt17. This former power station used to hold the Heusden-Zolder mine and is now the perfect pacesetter for your event. The stately building has been carefully renovated into a versatile, flexible and easily accessible event location. It is the ideal location for all your events and occasions, from a wedding to a product presentation to a family day for your employees. Just take a look at the industrial exterior and the beautiful windows and you will see that the atmosphere is perfect. But what really makes the difference at Watt17 is our service. Service with a big S, but also with a big C: because with the customisation that we associate with our service, we make your event unforgettable. After all, in a former power station it is allowed to sparkle with pure amazement.

Unique event location in Limburg 

Do you prefer a more intimate atmosphere of our Ondergrond hall and VOLT or the former above-ground machine hall with its immense glass windows? Each of these spaces has its own unique assets. Those assets form the perfect canvas for the interpretation of your event. For example, Ondergrond and VOLT are beautiful, atmospheric industrial halls that combine the robustness of the mining past with a nice dose of contemporary elegance. Equipped with all the audiovisual gadgets and facilities to technically shape your event. But, we think that is only common sense. So we went further than that. Thus, we engaged with a renowned agency to bring the outside in. As a result? A floating garden and trees that contrast wonderfully with their surroundings.

Would you like to host a big event? Bovengrond, with its old meter cupboards and high ceilings, is an absolute eye-catcher that can welcome up to 875 guests. Both breathtaking by day and by night. This room can easily be arranged according to your needs. But however different they are in look and feel, they have their versatility in common. Both are exceptional venues for organising trade fairs and conferences, but also for teambuilding activities, large wedding parties, communion parties, anniversaries, etc. Good accessibility and ample parking space are part of the package.

In addition, we have several break -out rooms / smaller meeting rooms from 6 to 100 people.

They take you smoothly from "Yes, I want!" to "Happily ever after" and we are recognised as a FLANDERS HERITAGE VENUE.

Ondergrond , Bovengrond and VOLT are just three of our venues for events. Besides these halls, we can also incorporate other areas of the site into your event.
